P & R network meeting of competent authorities during the Czech EU Presidency on 16 / 17 April 2009 in Prague
In continuation of the Slovenian Presidency initiative, the Czech Republic is organising the 3rd meeting of competent authorities for pricing and reimbursement of all 27 EU Member States as well as EEA countries in Prague for invited persons.
PPRI Network Meeting in Berlin

In continuation of the Slovenian Presidency, the French Presidency is now organizing the next meeting of competent authorities for pricing and reimbursement of all 27 EU Member States as well as EEA countries.
PPRI Report published
In June 2008, the PPRI Report was published. On 140 pages, it provides an in-depth overview on pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement and an analysis of strategies for rational use and cost-containment in the EU Member States of the enlarged European Union. This report is accompanied by detailed 21 country reports (so-called PPRI Pharma Profiles) on the pharmaceutical systems.

PPRI Network Meeting in Budapest
On 9 and 10 June 2008, the seventh PPRI Network Meeting took place in Budapest. More than 40 participants from over 20 European countries and Canada attended the meeting and discussed burning issues in pharmaceutical policies.

Relaunch of the PPRI website
The PPRI project, co-funded by the European Commission, DG SANCO, ended in 2007. However, the PPRI activities, including the PPRI network of more than 50 institutions, continues. Reflecting the adjusted focus of the sustainable PPRI exercise, the PPRI website was relaunched in June 2008.

Networking Meeting of Competent Authorities for Pricing and Reimbursement of Pharmaceuticals in Brdo/Slovenia, 28 & 29 April 2008
The Slovenian Presidency has recently brought together representatives of Pricing and Reimbursement Authorities of all 27 Member States as well as EEA countries (including several PPRI members). OECD high level symposium on pharmaceutical pricing policy 27 / 28 November 2008 in Paris
The symposium will mainly cover issues around affordable access to medicines, ensuring value for money and valued innovation as well as cross-national impacts of pharmaceutical policies. Participants will be from around 30 OECD Member States plus 5 Accession Candidates, WHO World Bank and other social partners.
Pharmaceutical Sector Inquiry - preliminary findings published on 28 November 2008
